Welcome to Brookfield Academy's Summer Program, where a galaxy of opportunities abounds for young people to learn, play, stretch, and grow. Brookfield Academy's Summer Program draws from the school's quality teaching staff and superb campus facilities. The Summer Program is open to all; students who do not attend Brookfield Academy are most welcome to register for summer camps and classes. This is an ideal opportunity to experience the Academy's teaching style, philosophy, and energy for yourself.

General Information

Discovery Kids Camps

Our action-packed day camp program is designed to keep children entering K4 thorugh Grade 1 engaged mentally and physically. Fun-filled days in a safe environment combined with enthusiastic instruction await each camper. Day camps are offered in five different one-week sessions, with a new theme each week. Register for one or more sessions. Every session includes literature appreciation, writing, art, music, and outdoor activities.

Day camps for 2010 are June 14 - 18, June 21 - 25, June 28 - July 2, July 12 - 16, and July 19 - 23. Morning session 9 a.m. - noon; afternoon session 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.; full day 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Day Care

The Narnia Program extends the day for children entering K4 through Grade 8 requiring care before or after Summer Program offerings. The summer Narnia Program is avialable from 7:30 a.m. until 9 a.m. and then again from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Both hourly and daily rates are available.

Build-A-Day

Our flexible program is designed for students entering K5 through 8, featuring a full slate of academic, enrichment, and recreational choices. Attend all day, half a day, or take just one class. Sports camps can be built into a student's day.

Build-A-Day sessions for 2010 are offered June 21 - July 2 and July 12 - 23, with four class periods available between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Sports Camps

Brookfield Academy sports camps for students ages 5 - 18 make full use of our first-class athletic facilities. Campers will improve their skills outdoors in football, soccer, field hockey, tennis, cross country running, or work on their game indoors participating in basketball, volleyball, martial arts, fitness programs, or yoga.

Learn a new sport or develop your skills, led by experienced Brookfield Academy coaches and players. Every camper receives individual attention. Campers are grouped by age and ability for learning appropriate drills, skills, and techniques. Most equipment is supplied. Campers should bring any personal equipment required.

Sports camps for 2010 are offered mid-June - early August. Most coordinate with the Build-A-Day schedule.

Academic & Enrichment Courses

Courses for pre-school, elementary, middle school, and high school students—even adults—round out Brookfield Academy's summer offerings. Explore a hobby, brush up on writing and math skills, prepare for college entrance tests and writing college application essays, or learn how to do something you've never tried before. The sky's the limit!

Classes for 2010 are offered mid-June through August.

Service Learning Opportunities

Make a difference in the community. Learn about community organizations while lending a hand where it is needed.
